I had been wanting to change my kitchen for some time. It was so worth it. NYKB completely transformed my kitchen. The photos say everything. They just made my life so much easier. Pull out trash and recycling bins… new stove, dishwasher, fridge. I mean these before and after pictures just say everything. If you go with NYKB trust me… you will be in good hands.

I had major water damage across all the floors in my apartment due to a dishwasher leak. Not only did the floors have to be replaced, there was also a mold issue and the existing subfloor had to be removed and replaced. Perry, Michael Avidor, and Carl managed the whole process and pushed hard to move as fast as possible even during the holidays. Michael provided detailed updates and photos even while I was traveling out of the country. The end product looks great and we have the peace of mind coming from knowing that the installation was done correctly, with no shortcuts, and is protected through their 5 year warranty.

We purchased a new apartment in our building after falling in love with the view but quickly realized we needed to renovate an older model kitchen which was walled off from our living room, and re-do our master bathroom. We had a general concept of what we wanted so we began speaking to several contractors. Immediately, from our first meeting, we knew NYKB was the design and renovation firm for us. When you are doing something as intimate and as important as designing and renovating your home, relationship and communication is of the upmost importance. NYKB treats you like family. They completely understood what our vision for our home was and began working on a plan for us. Perry could not have been more helpful in discussing our vision with us and guiding us through the entire process from our first consultation to the end result. Nick and Ellen on their design team were vital to us in helping choose color schemes and materials that perfectly fit into the vision we had for our new home. Tracie took care of ALL of the back-end paperwork, we never had to deal with certifications or building permits. Their project manager Steve made sure the project stayed on track and took care of every single little detail concerning construction. The fact that they have a showroom made the process even easier for us, and was very helpful in influencing some of our design ideas. After discussing plans and choosing materials we were presented with an in-depth walk through of what our future home would look like. We were blown away by the professionalism and detail that went into our presentation. Construction started immediately and was done well within schedule. We could not have been happier with the result. NYKB was able to work around structural building infrastructure to give us the open kitchen and living room we always wanted. They designed, created, and installed a custom entertainment system for us based on our needs and wants and integrated fully automated entertainment, lights, and shades into one handy unit for us. We now have a home both perfect for entertaining and socializing, as well as raising our young child. Our master bathroom is truly elegant and modern, it feels spa like. We also had NYKB re-do our floors which came out amazing, surpassing even what we could have imagined. Everything from painting, to lighting, tiling, plumbing, cabinetry; was done perfectly. We were so impressed with the work they did, and the relationship we forged with them that we have hired them to do renovations at another home of ours. Stay tuned for those pictures!

My experience with NYKB on my complete bathroom renovation and replacing/upgrading closet doors throughout my apartment was first-rate.

Starting with my initial meeting with Perry, working with Sharonda on the design (thank you for suggesting the wall-to-wall shower niche!) and choosing the materials, Andrea who handled my building’s approval process and obtained the necessary permits, and my project manager Gevanta who was always available to provide updates and take feedback and whose team executed the work flawlessly, the NYKB team handled everything with great professionalism. When unforeseen additional work was needed to address building requirements and to remediate water damage, the team explained the required work, answered all my questions, and worked with me to stay within my budget. Once started, the project was completed in a timely manner and I couldn’t be happier with my beautiful new bathroom and the new closet doors.

The job they did was absolutely amazing and deserves a five star rating without doubt.
Upscale was completely professional and the workmanship has been excellent. The employees with Michael Avidor as a project manager are friendly, knowledgeable, punctual and very neat.
Without any hesitation I called them again to do the minor repairs in my bathroom and they proved once more to be an incredible set of people to work with.
From the first step wich was scoping out the job through to the proposal to the and the cleanup they were great.

Highly recommend Hello Chapter for renovation work in NYC.

They just finished my apt (new walls for bedrooms and closets, new bathroom, plumbing, tiling, electric, etc) and it looks fantastic. They are easy to work with.

Rubi, the project manager, was a great communicator and very helpful. His ideas and recommendations made the finished product better than it would be otherwise. He took every aspect of the job seriously, the team works quickly and efficiently, and their work is high quality with attention to detail.

Their pricing is fair, and they provide a detailed quote thats easy to read and discuss. Not like other contractors that inflate prices at your expense.

I would definitely use Hello Chapter again and I would highly recommend them to a friend.

I had just completed a full apartment renovation. It was a very good experience. I had a great team in Nihaar and Monica as project manager and designer. Few mistakes were made . Mostly rectified. Few disappointments but overall it was a positive experience.
Apartment renovation is never a cake walk but I think they made it much more bearable than it would have otherwise been.
One of the great things I like about chapter, They promise not to walk away from the job once it’s completed. But Nihaar promised to be there for the next year if any issues related to the work done arise. I very much appreciate that.
I will Definitely recommend them. And I would sure use them again for any renovation project I may need in the future.

Simply perfect. From the way they treat you by email: fast, available and kind. And then Gio, the guy who built my flex room was amazing, quick and effective. He talked me through what he was doing because it was the first time I used this kind of service and he was above attentive and even helped me decide how to use the space in a better way. He answered all my questions (which were a lot) in the most polite way possible!!! The job was perfect! Left everything clean and exactly how I wanted it!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jewel Construction Company for a major home improvement project, and I cannot speak highly enough of their outstanding service and craftsmanship. The project involved sophisticated Trex decking and cladding, concrete repainting, pergola installation, light landscaping and lighting. Si quieres tus licencias facil y rapido ven a este sitio, no te enseñan nada, en todos los cursos solo repiten lo básico de OSHA Los instructores tienen nula experiencia en campo solo confunden a los que inician en el ramo de la construcción no se como dan cursos para supervisores si no tienen la mínima experiencia y lo peor dan cursos de site safety sin ni siquiera tener uno con experiencia basta tomar un examen en español y darte cuenta que ni se toman el tiempo de traducirlo bien y lo peor lo saben y no lo corrigen solo quieren llenar sus bolsas con dinero

Malisimos dando información cuando se llega el día de las clases resulta q no las cancelan ya estando las personas en el lugar los días domingo ni llamen q no contestan pero dan clases no entiendo el sistema ese… el trabajo es para todos tanto para ellos como para las personas q necesitan las licencias de trabajo colaboren
