Pilates on Ludlow is by far the worst Pilates studio in NYC. I deeply regret not reading the reviews before coming here. Every single negative review is completely accurate. The staff is incredibly strict, with zero leniency or understanding, and they come across as cold and mean. They seem to have no interest in their clients’ well-being or comfort. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. It’s truly a horrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.Edit:Their response only reinforces my original point about the cold and unwelcoming attitude of the staff. Instead of addressing my concerns, they chose to focus on my late arrival, which I understand, but it doesn’t excuse their lack of empathy. It’s telling that they only respond to negative reviews with defensiveness and an attitude, while completely ignoring the positive ones. Clearly, they are more concerned about their image than their clients’ experiences.I stand by my original assessment: this studio is not worth your time or money. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere.

It was my first time visiting the studio from out of town (2/23/2024)! Very clean. I was greeted warmly by the front staff, had a friendly conversation. Forgot my sticky socks - I was so relieved to have them conveniently sold by the studio.I love the intimate size of class (up to 5) compared to where I live, where classes are up to 10-12 easily. Saori's class was challenging, yet rewarding. She led the class with an excellent cadence. Her background in ballet was expressed in our exercises, to which I was grateful. If you think her class is like "Barry's Bootcamp", you might've signed up for the wrong difficulty class, there's nothing wrong with getting the best workout of your life.I appreciated her patience in allowing me to film myself in-studio to track my progress. Support a local business, don't use ClassPass, keep businesses alive in NYC.

I love Pilates on Ludlow! The atmosphere is welcoming and the studio is always clean. The instructors are fantastic — knowledgeable, inspiring, and attentive to individual needs. The small class sizes really allow for personalized attention and a solid workout. I have also enjoyed trying all the different instructors and particularly recommend Gabriel, Monica, Rosaly, Shayne, and Derya!!

I LOVE Pilates on Ludlow! I have taken classes with many of the instructors and all are great. Shayna and Gabby are two of my favorites but you truly can’t miss with anyone here. Lovely staff where everyone is kind, hospitable, and informative! And the classes are small, providing lots of opportunities for both modifications and challenges for a range of experience with the individual attention you receive. Quality equipment and clean aesthetic. Whether it’s your first class, your 500th, or somewhere in between - you’ll love this boutique studio.
