Cold Mountain Ski Rental and Sale

I'm so glad I found this place for my family's ski rentals. The rental equipment is like new, and the Chinese lady who assisted us was very professional and polite, answering all of our questions. We were able to walk out the same day with 7 seasonal rentals. The kids are happy, and we are too. I've already referred two other families, and they had a great experience as well. Plus, they have an amazing referral program, which is a big bonus!

Amazing service and prices! Cold mountain Ski was recommended to me by friends who rented from here last year and had a great experience, so I came to rent skis and boots for my three kids. There was plenty of equipment to choose from, all in excellent condition. The woman was very nice, honest and helpful. The prices were very reasonable and the location had ample street parking (within a block if not right out front). We will definitely be returning next year. Great to finally have a ski shop in queens!

I had a good experience shopping for my first ski gear here. The staff was patient and explained everything clearly. I appreciate their willingness to answer all my basic questions. The store had a lot of choices, and they made trying things on easy. They made sure I tried on different options until I found the most fitting equipment for my level. There's also some helpful poster guides for choosing different ski equipment. Overall, they made the experience less overwhelming.

Decent selection of equipment, clothing & accessories to rent or purchase at very affordable prices, especially compared to other big ski shops. A local small business, convenient location for those in Queens; no need to go far out to Long Island. Owner Jenny is very helpful, friendly and the prices are very fair.They sell a small selection of used equipment from former seasons for those looking to save a little money over a couple of seasons esp. for kids (this was the nature of my business with them today). New jackets, pants, gloves, layering clothes, all very affordably priced which is so encouraging for those families who just want to enjoy the sport without breaking the bank. $10 used ski pants? yes please.Location is a little hard to see if just driving by; it is in the basement level. Parking in this area is slightly challenging although not impossible. Once you have your equipment, bring the car and park temporarily in the driveway right in front and load up the car.Definitely recommend.

The staff made renting ski equipment very easy for us. They are very patient and offer you different options as they answer all questions you might have about sizing and brands. If they don’t have something you need , they make sure to notify you as soon as it becomes available in their store. I highly recommend getting your winter sports equipment and gear from them.
