There rates are too high. Got an Auto loan approved for 8.5% without doing a credit check and they said there wont be any difference in the rates even if they run a hard inquiry (my around 775). I got a 5.99% from my auto company financing and that was the best rate available in the market. The rates shown in the website are super phenomenal. They are not gonna offer it to anyone.

Absolute joke of a company. The phone service is cartoonishly incompetent. I've been told variously that there's no restrictions on my account, that the restrictions are because they couldn't find my credit report, that they lost my id, and that they could find my credit report but my score of over 700 is not enough to give me a regular savings account with which to make use of my own money. Instead I got put on a 5 month restricted account THAT I CANT WITHDRAW MY OWN MONEY FROM. Only one person knew why and when they told me they treated me like a criminal. Why is every other bank normal but this one is crazy? I collect credit unions and this is the worst experience I've ever had in my life. It's not just one or two people there, it's like they're all under a magic spell that makes them unable to help you and fills their head with lies to get you off the phone.

Horrible customer service. They repo'd my daughters car for two months missed payments after she called and said she was sending it. The next day they repo'd it. They agreed to wait and repo'd it at midnight the same day. Slimy as can be. We paid the whole car off for her so we'd be done with the awful people. Everytime you call they have different info. Shame on you Pen Fed
