I was a resident at cliffside for a few years. My experience with administration was great. Therapy was very helpful and successful in helping me. I Would recommend this facility to anyone that wants good th erapy in order to return to the community. I would like to thank all the staff for the amazing care. This place is a house of horrors. I signed my poor mother out of there less than 12 hours after I saw what was going on in there. Cockroaches everywhere. Dilapidated outdated facilities. Disgusting food. Cutting corners everywhere to save money. Who is getting paid off to write these false reviews? How does Medicare give this place a high rating? This place is unfit for humans who are being warehoused there. The people who work there also deserve better. Don’t put your loved ones here.

Like many nursing homes, the night shift nurses here are the absolute worst. My loved one’s oxygen levels dropped, and the condition deteriorated to the point that they had to be transferred to NYPQ hospital. Yet, Cliffside failed to notify the family at all. I only found out because the hospital called me, and by the time I rushed there, it was too late—I couldn’t be there in the final moments.The night nurses at this facility lack basic professionalism and ethical standards. If your loved one has respiratory issues, this is not the place for them. I strongly discourage anyone from considering this nursing home.

I'm very grateful to this facility. The care given here is amazing. Staff really care for the residents, they go out of their to make sure everyone is comfortable and doing well. The rehab department made sure that I was ready to return to the community. The activities helped me enjoy my time here. Thank you Cliffside for all you've done for me!!!!
