My husband has made great progress with the professional West Village Rehab PT and OT staff. Nurses, aides and support staff are friendly and efficient. Facility is exceptionally clean. If you have to spend time in a rehab facility West Village is a good choice.

After my elderly mother suffered a painful hip fracture I was very anxious but the nurses and staff here are wonderful, patient and very diligent. Everything is so clean and organized and everyone I’ve come across tries very hard to keep the residents as happy and upbeat as possible. And the physical therapists and occupational therapists have been working with her for hours daily to get her back on her feet. They even have a once a week hair salon to keep your spirits up.

Good attentive nursing care, and clean facility, but somewhat understaffed for room aides. Helpful meal assistance, but menu didn’t get updated per patient’s request.Problematic that no microwave available to warm visitors’ food or coffee- seems a no-brainer…Very comfortable lobby with helpful reception person. Easy to visit- within a block of #1 train and buses.

My father was here needed rehab after hip surgery. Other than the friendly front desk staff this place is TERRIBLE. Food is disgusting AND everyone gets the same meal. I brought him food daily. They are extremely short staffed. There is only ONE nurse per floor. And they’re all per diem and one nurse said “we are extremely short staffed”. He would ring the button for nurse and wait and wait and wait and end up having bowel movement in his pants. He was crying and humiliated. The aides are extremely LAZY.They assured me they would take my dad to the afternoon events but they did not. He would ring button again and again and no one came. Same with the other person who shared his room. They rang buzzer and no one came until 40” laterYou have to ask for everything single thing zero proactiveness. You constantly have to ask them to refill your water pitcher, get a toothbrush and toothpaste. They also only have 3” tiny plastic pill cups. I had to bring him normal glasses to drink from.Weekends are even worse. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible
