I.S. 98 The Bay Academy

honestly, i feel like attending this school as a 7th grader is alright. it’s good, but i just don’t wanna be there. the teachers could be overwhelming, especially the math teachers. many things could not go your way, but you might end up liking it. some of the teachers are understanding, and funny, so make the best of it. also, to the people talking about the bullying, they didn’t really lie. just avoid those who look like they’d bother you and you’ll be fine

I graduated from this middle school in 2016 and I have to say this is an AMAZING school. Everyone is very nice and chill. Very clean and new classroom, bathroom, and auditorium. Wonderful, supportive teachers that actually care about each and everyone of the students!!! The location it is in is also very convenient because right across there's a bagel shop and there is also a subway station right across. Overall this may be the friendliest and safest school ☺️

I'm going to graduate this school year and I personally think that this school is good for hard working and dedicated students. The teachers here all have good intentions and although some may seem harsh or mean, they care about your education. As long as you do your work, you won't have a problem with them. This school has great talent teachers that push the students to do their best. The school itself is always kept in good condition. The school also gives many opportunities to the students such as art contests, shows(for drama, dance, instrumental, and vocals), science Olympiad and more.Although some students at the school aren't as nice as others, if you avoid them your good to go! So for sixth graders, don't go in thinking that the school will be a walk in the park or that all the people are pure, just go in with a clear mind and positive attitudes.

A lot of people are saying that this school is bad. It is not bad. It is good. It has a good curriculum. My best friend goes here and his name is Matthew G. He loves his teachers and has a very fun time with his friends. He excels in math and reading and has very good skills. I would recommend Bay Academy to anybody that wants a great middle school education. I will be sending my children there soon.

This is the best middle school in all of NY. I cannot express how amazing this school is in words, but I will try. The teachers here are friendly and care soooooo much about the students. They do whatever they can to make the students understand the curriculum and more. They not only prepare you for tests, but for high school. Its a memorable experience and I guarantee you that once you leave to high school, you'll miss this school and the teachers you had. The teachers make sure that kids have a fun learning experience as well. I honestly would recommend this school to anyone out there.
