Eric was recommended to me by my Dad’s synagogue, and I’m very glad we worked with him. My Dad was not doing well in a rehab/skilled nursing facility and we knew we needed to get him out of there fast. I had already toured a couple of places, and it was such a relief to have someone else deal with setting up tours going forward, finding out prices for various situations, and being the liaison between us and everywhere we were looking. The sales people at the various assisted living facilities all knew Eric. He has a detailed knowledge of which places can handle which levels of care. In the end, we had two of the nicest places in Manhattan competing to offer us a better deal than the other. We are very happy with the place we ended up choosing with Eric’s help.

Rod Oshins, the Assisted living Advisers advisor we have worked with has been amazing. He took the time to get to know us, understand my mom’s situation and needs, and worked tirelessly to find the right assisted living community for her and us. He was patient and always available he didn’t stop when the agreement was signed. He continues to check in, making recommendations for movers, caregiver agencies and much more! I would highly recommend their services (and already have to a friend) to anyone looking for the right assisted living community!!

I’ve been sure to always place her in quality assisted living for Memory Care - but the increased cost of elder care outpaces inflation by a long shot, while her pension and social security remain fixed until her life story ends.ZIP CODE MATTERS.And with each move, she is farther and father away from me. For the first time, I had to cross state lines.Thanks to Rod Oshins’ research, we moved her to a lovely place in New Jersey - but thankfully I live within 10 minutes of of the George Washington Bridge, and she is equidistant to it on the Jersey side. Thank goodness for Lyft - only 25 minutes away on a good day!So far, I’m very happy with this choice. The staff is very friendly and attentive, so it took no time for Mom to adjust.She has a sunny room equipped with a kitchenette all to herself - no roommates YAY! There is a gorgeous dining room, private dining for special events, several cozy living room spaces, outdoor patios, entertainment, cinema, art room, on-site wellness/nursing facility with visiting doctors and nurse practitioner weekly.The decor is joyous and welcoming, centered around an old 1940s/50s Hollywood and Television movie star theme.I’m grateful to Rod for helping to make sense out of what is otherwise a black box of information overload. I would 100% recommend him to any family who is looking for help in making this important decision .

Eric and Assisted Living Advisers was the last stop in our journey across four states, to find the best placement for our family member who has dementia. At that point, desperate, and overwhelmed, he "held our hand" while he took us to potential facilities near us. We believe we found the best place for her, and know we could not have done it without him.
