I have been going to Dr. Behan for about 9 years now and have had a consistently good experience. He’s very professional, thorough and efficient with time. I’ve never experienced long wait times in his office. If there are any issues he is very clear and explains well, giving all the information needed to make a decision if one needs to be made. Best eye doctor practice! The office is so kind and professional. I usually see Dr. Leis and he’s amazing, but have seen other doctors in a pinch and they’re great too. Everyone takes the time to thoroughly listen to your questions and walk you through your eye health. I never feel rushed and always feel like I’m in good hands when I have an eye appt. Highly recommend.

This is the best optometrist experience I have had in nearly a decade in NYC. I've seen many different providers in search of a good doctor and good selection of frames. My prescription isn't complicated, but I have had a slight corneal issue for years. Over the summer, I saw another doctor who totally messed up the prescription once and then again and diagnosed something new. Here, Dr. Leis spent a lot of time examining me and talking with me and testing different prescriptions. He did all the tests and ultimately concluded that this other doctor was wrong--and he fixed my prescription and told me my eye health was good. This is by far the longest an optometrist has spent with me in NYC, and I will be back annually from now on. In addition, I hardly waited before my appointment, and the front desk staff is very nice.
