Orkin cancelled my first service appointment at the last minute and wouldn't schedule time until much later in the week. Without checking with me the appointment was automatically cancelled, and moved from Monday to Thursday.Shouldn't there be more urgency, professionalism and care shown given the nature of the problem their business deals with?They came across as dismissive when I called up and expressed my disappointment on the phone. Seemed like no one wanted to take responsibility. I was told they will call me back to see if my appointment could be expedited, but I never heard back.When I pressed on this matter over the phone, they said they would give me a 50 dollar discount as a trade off for this issue. But I told them that their website already had a 75 dollar initial service discount for new users - which the they didn't seem to be aware of, until I highlighted.I am yet to get started with their service, but the initial interactions has already left me feeling quite concerned.Further update to my post from earlier in the week:You guys advertise as being available 24/7, but I've been trying to reach on your company helpline number since last evening to cancel my rescheduled appointment for today evening, but no one would bother answering the phone call! How's that a 24/7 service? I couldn't wait until Thursday to get the pest treatment started, kindly cancel it ASAP!

Orkin service was good for the first year. This year very poor service. They canceled several appointments with 1 hour notice. They give notice via text of their next appointment with only 24 hour notice. They don’t ask the phone. Most calls goes to voicemail. Poor customer service. I’m looking for a new exterminator company.

Miss scheduled Appointments more than twice since I signed a contract last month , zero call backs when messages left. Promised services that you do not receive but still charged. PestsAre stressful enough, you need reliable exterminators who you can trust will show up to do what they advertise .

This company has shady practices. I cancelled my appointment and the exterminator still came. Told him that the appointment was cancelled. He said no worries you won’t be charged. Looked at my bank statement a few days later and there was a charge of $86. Called the company and they said it was a charge for an inspection. Told the agent appt was cancelled there was no inspection performed. The agent told me they will speak to a manger and call me back. Two days later haven’t heard back and they are not picking up my phone calls now. STAY AWAY! This is not a trust worthy company.-Mary
