my new go-to butcher. gorgeous and quality meats at very reasonable prices. I've gotten a whole duck, porterhouse, bone marrow, lamb shanks, and various sausages and all have been incredible. it's a little crazy during holidays so I recommend not going the day before (like I did twice) but truthfully the line is never unbearable and they keep it moving quickly. when it's not a holiday, you're in and out quickly

Dropped in for a sandwich and .......simply wow! The sandwich selection is huge. Ordered The Paisano and wanted more (only half the sandwich is pictured). They created a beast of a sandwich , loaded with a huge portion of meat, cheese, and veges.Their selection of fresh meats is impressive as well, only wish we could have tried some.Thanks, Paisanos, for the friendly service and great sandwich.

I recently bought a variety of bison burgers, venison patties, Korean short ribs and chuck steak. I was overcharged somewhere in the bison burgers in the venison patties. Bought 2 lb of Korean short ribs. 1 lb was fine. The other was all fat and bone. This was about 2 weeks ago. Couple days before Christmas. I chose not to go back and make an issue of it but it still sticks in my craw. For the mostpart, I can't complain about the quality. I've been there a couple times before but this last time like I said it just won't leave me alone.

Best butcher in Carroll Gardens and many neighborhoods surrounding it. High quality meat at good prices. Go here for your holiday roast, steak night, etc... if you're into exotic meats like kangaroo and ostrich, they'll have that too!

I really want to like this place, but this is the third time I’ve gone in and simply walked out after being inside for over 10 minutes. Likely won’t be returning.There’s very little clarity around line management, and very little effort by staff to direct. After standing with a smile for several minutes and making eye contact with staff, only to have them engage other customers and ignore me. I decided to just leave and not come back.
