Garden OB/GYN - Rockefeller Center

I've been going to this practice for over 2 years and had care that can only be described as mediocre, but the appointment I had yesterday takes the cake. They called me to schedule my appointment which, in hindsight, just seems like a ploy to run my insurance before the end of the year. I got there signed in, had an annual checkup and was sent to get blood drawn for tests. As I was sitting there waiting to get blood drawn, a visibly nervous nurse comes in and asks me if I'm going to pass out while getting blood drawn not once, but three times. Though it's certainly not a highlight, I've never had any adverse reactions to getting blood drawn, but with her hesitancy I started to get nervous. She ties my arm and sticks me but completely misses and is unable to get blood. There was a second nurse in the room whom she called over to see if she could help her find a vein. The second nurse proceeds to touch my arm and feel for veins without a glove. They call over a third nurse who had attended me upon checking in at the front desk asks if it's ok to get blood from a vessel in my hand. I say that it's a bit uncommon as I've never had that done and I've donated blood before from my arm. She said it would hurt, but we should try it. She tries it and blood starts to trickle out but not enough to fill the vials. They give up and say that the pap smear would check for the exact same things but that the blood test would have been quicker. They offer me some paperwork to take to "a location where I'd like to get my blood drawn." I told them I did not have one and this was just a part of my annual checkup. They left me sitting there without information or instructions before telling me I could take my chart and go check out at the front desk. I stood at the front desk for five minutes, in which no one showed up to attend me. I left them my chart and headed home. A huge waste of time. Where is the customer service?! Listen to your patients!

I had a pleasant experience overall, with friendly and professional staff, and minimal wait time, which I really appreciated. However, I did notice that the floor of the room where I was seen could have used a sweep. There were visible hairs and dust, which made me feel a bit uneasy, especially considering the high standards of a prestigious clinic like this, or any medical facility. Thank you for the otherwise excellent service!

Sara was excellent and professional. Angie drew blood on the first try and it was painless. Reception and staff are thorough and helpful. I highly recommend this location and will be coming back. I am a first time patient with a great experience.

I have been going to this practice for about 2 years now. The care was always mediocre, I’ve had good experiences with some providers and okay experiences with others. However, my last experience was absolutely terrible and disgusts me as someone who works in healthcare. It took this practice a MONTH to give me back test results and fill my prescriptions. I was told at my appointment on 9/10 this process would take 3-4 days and here I am on 10/9 just now receiving what I needed. An entire month later. When I called to speak with my care provider throughout this month to check in, she was frequently unavailable and unable to answer my questions as to why these time sensitive things were taking so long. She was also unapologetic and insensitive about all of my concerns when I was finally able to get in touch with her. If you’re looking for sensitive, organized, and comprehensive care I would avoid this practice at all costs.

I would not recommend coming here. The staff medical staff is unprofessional. I came in for a specific ongoing issue. The NP didn’t even bother to look at it and told me I didn’t have what I came in for even though it was a visible issue. Then when I came back to see a doctor, he was terrible. When I went to speak with him about scheduling a procedure there was a room full of medical staff 5 people just chit chatting. Then it became chaotic with all the different conversations happening at once. While they think my issue isn’t a big deal it is to me. The doctor never even followed up to have my procedure scheduled! So I went elsewhere. Then they had their billing all wrong. I do not recommend this place or any of there locations.
