Lynda Marin is an excellent practitioner and I learned so much working with her! She offers helpful solutions, remembers the details of our previous sessions, and is a judgment-free listener. I would highly recommend her for anyone seeking a responsive and caring therapist.

My experience with Expansive Therapy was truly amazing and transformative. My therapist, Raidys, was exceptional. This was my first experience with therapy, and she made me feel heard, comfortable, and helped me through some tough moments. I still carry her insight with me and would continue care with this group had I not moved states. Highly recommend this group to anyone seeking support!

This joke of a practice has the nerve to run ads on Instagram but when you go to their website you find out that more than half of their staff is labled as FULLY BOOKED and that only 8 therapists out of a team of 27 are available to work with you. So you read up on those 8 therapists that don't have the words FULLY BOOKED splayed across their photo, you find the one that feels like the right fit for you, you email the office manager your insurance information only to be told that you have to be put on a waiting list for the therapist of your choice, a therapist that is listed as available - the alternative is to use a different therapist. Upon further email exchange you are informed that the therapist you wanted ISN'T EVEN ACCREDITED to work in New York City and won't be for another month or two, and, again, would you like to try another therapist? A month or two - thank goodness you're not feeling suicidal. Ultimately, you feel like you are being shoehorned into a therapy situation not of your choosing and not in your control. If this is how a business relationship is going to begin, who is to say it will get any better?

I have nothing but good things to say about this practice. When I initially reached out, I received a quick response from Tyler and was seen quickly by Kristina. She guided me out of a bad situation in a supportive but firm way. She helped me find strength far beyond what I knew I was capable of, completely turning my life around for the better. I only met with Kristina 10 or so times but found myself crying at my final session simply because of the immense support she had provided. I cannot recommend her enough!

I have been seeing Jacqueline Yang remotely for about 3 years now, and she is my rock! From bad break ups to family members passing away, she has helped me through it all with so much compassion. I love how progressive, open minded, intellectual, and supportive her therapy methods are. She definitely takes time to note who I am personally, and I never feel like "just another client".I've been with Jackie since her clinical intern days, so I definitely would recommend even the clinical interns as they are just as professional!The clinic's receptionist is always very fast to respond, helpful, and kind. I always get same-day replies to any questions I may have. I need invoices for my work's stipend program, and they have a great automatic invoice system.Nothing but positive things to say about my whole experience with Expansive Therapy! 🙂
