What a great find! This locksmith stand is a true old-school gem right in middle of Greenwich. I looked all over NYC and Jersey City to get a hard-to-find key duplicated for my apartment, but was unsuccessful until I came across Greenwich Locksmiths. Phillip had the key I was looking for in-stock and was able to duplicate it for me immediately right on the spot! I was so grateful for his help and great customer service! Will definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I stumbled upon this store. It is a remarkable piece of art. I spoke to the owner. Super friendly. True New York experience. He told me to google "Do not duplicate documentary" and I did. That documentary tells you the incredible life of this artist.

Really lucky to have this locksmith in the neighborhood! There are so many Reddit locksmith horror stories and it was a relief that Phil’s shop is an honest place where they charge you reasonably for a great job. Needed a door lock changed and Phil also helped fix the deadbolt. Will go back to them for all future locksmith needs and recommend to friends too!

Absolute gem! I wanted a castle key made and was excited by the variety of options, the man who worked there told me about the process of how they are made and had it ready quickly. Completely seamless, high-quality experience.I'm considering getting a safe and losing the key so I have another reason to ask them for help.

UPDATE: This person clearly has yet to find joy in their life. The reply only reinforces my point about blaming everyone but themselves, a testament to their arrogance and lack of consumer empathy. Claiming our review is fake is an easy way out of looking at the reality of their poor and overpriced service. I'm now suspecting their good reviews might be fake, given they can't imagine a legitimate customer would be unhappy with their service. Also notice how there is no judification for their ridiculously overpriced services. Nevertheless, we wish them well.-------------ORIGINAL: Having been confined to such small quarters for so many years is likely what caused the mental afflictions of this sad and unhelpful locksmith. Rude and dismissive, they are ridiculously OVERPRICED and willfully INCOMPETENT. They’ll blame everyone but themselves when you tell them their KEY DOES NOT WORK, a clear mark of arrogance.Making others miserable seems to have become their specialty. Just seeing the space is sad in itself. Perhaps a slightly bigger shop would be beneficial to this locksmith’s mental health. Better yet, they could find another outlet than the public for their arrogance and impatience. When you treat people like that, even if you managed to stay in business for 40 years, it’s time to retire. There’s no reason to behave as such with people going out of their way to buy your services.I’m very grateful to have found another locksmith who is actually competent, joyful AND amiable, having provided keys that actually work at a QUARTER of this one's ridiculously expensive price.Good luck Greenwich Locksmiths.
