Would not recommend this business for non-warranty Kate Spade repair though they are an official repair center. I have reached out to them twice via email about a mail-in job that was not completed as we had discussed on the phone and they have not replied to either email.The issue: My purse was missing one rivet and they called me after receiving it because the replacement piece was out of stock. We discussed during the call that they would replace both rivets on that side so they would match each other, but they only took care of the missing one and it is a different color and size than the other. I am not usually exceedingly picky but it does not look good, especially considering that this work cost $90 plus $30 return shipping.

Definitely 5 starts to the service, professionalism and quick repair of Modern Leather Goods. I was on my way to the airport, and the handle snapped for my lovely Victorinox carry on luggage. I took it to Modern Leather Goods yesterday, and honestly, 10 minutes later, it was fixed. I was so shocked, I asked the gentleman if he was for real. I begin experiencing an issue with the wheels of a high-end, carry-on luggage item. I opted to patronize Modern Leather Goods, as they came highly recommended from a trusted neighbor. Upon arriving, I was greeted by Tony, who immediately turned his attention to providing me assistance. With a quick once-over, Tony confirmed my luggage wasn’t in need of repair; instead, I’d inadvertently activated a wheel lock that I was previously unaware of. I’m beyond thankful for the service and hospitality from the team at Modern Leather Goods. Of note: Another customer was ahead of me as I was waiting to be seen. His repair of two rather large pieces of luggage was also swiftly completed, and he expressed his sincere appreciation for the speedy service. Only hours after opening their doors, Modern Leather Goods made the day of two New Yorkers in need. Kudos!

These guys are such professionals. My dog chewed up my Dior shoe, and I really thought they were destroyed beyond repair. But Modern Leather Goods restored them, and they look brand new. I’m so impressed and grateful! And they were so nice as well. Thank you!
