From the first phone call to the goodbye was an absolutely outstanding experience. Form the sale side they were so patient to work with my requirements, Saad and Alex were very understanding of every concerns of mine and managed to accommodate me on every single request. On the movers side, the team was led by Alex ( different Alex) who was extremely professional, punctual, respectful of our home, and personal items. Since we had expensive furniture and art work, we were concerned as to how will the team manage the wrapping and transportation of all items. Well I tell you , Alex with his confidence and calm personality gave us such comfort that we not once had to worry about anything. Alex and his team ( team of 4) were so efficient, so pleasant, so professional that if I would have not experienced it myself , I would have not believed it that such company exists. My husband, who is very meticulous about everything was extremely pleased as well. From the onliading to the off loading everything was just smooth and pleasant. We’ve worked with Great Movers several times now, and we’re always pleased with their work. We first moved our studio apartment 4 blocks to a one-bedroom — flawless. The next move has been more complex, moving half of our belongings into storage to stage our apartment, then the rest into storage because we sold our place before buying the new one, and just yesterday, after two months living out of a suitcase, we got both batches of belongings returned to us in our new place, virtually without a scratch (one tiny nick that we are working through). Do not use this company under any circumstances no matter what. We hired them to move and store all of our belongings in late 2020. They assured us the items in their storage were secure and safe and completely organized and separate from l other people’s things. When they delivered our belongings back to us in 2022, not only were many of the items completely destroyed by rat poop and pee, but 1/3 of our belongings were missing entirely. This included very beloved and expensive wardrobe items, marble coffee table, linen couch, etc. The company was extremely unhelpful and unwilling to do anything to help. They insisted that our missing belongings were not in their facility. 2 years later in 2024, my husband got a message from a stranger on LinkedIn saying Imperial Movers had just delivered their own stuff to them out of storage and they received a few wardrobe boxes of clothes that weren’t theirs, but they saw my husband’s name thanks to a dry cleaning receipt. So – our missing items HAD been in their storage facility all along, despite their claims they “searched the entire place” and they weren’t there. Sadly, this Good Samaritan who reached out to my husband only had a few of our things, so there are still many more items we are missing that were delivered to other clients who had no way of finding us, or perhaps they’re STILL in Imperial’s possession in their storage facility. In summary, we basically lost all of our belongings because of Imperial – either due to the rat pee and poop or because they lost our items entirely or because in other cases they broke our items (for example, they busted our iron bed frame as well as spindles). It was such a traumatizing experience I could never even bring myself to relive the experience by writing out the review until now, but truly I implore you to NOT USE this company. You will regret it. No matter how low they quote you (which they will end up increasing anyway on the day of), DO NOT use them.

Customer Rep was great and so were the reviews so I was feeling really good about the move.
Day of went all wrong. There was no communication between us and the movers, we had a window of time when they would arrive but would have been nice to have received a call/text to know when they were actually on the way.
The movers got there and at first I was impressed, it took around an hour and a half to get all of our stuff loaded. It’s when we got to our new apt when things went south. Before they began to unload they asked me to pay first. I had no problem with that until they showed me the amount. I was quoted $490 for 3 hours and I was anticipating for a little more. They tried to charge me $2180, for 9 hours! We went back and forth on how this was totally unreasonable and I told them I would complain. I felt stuck because the offices were closed and again no contact otherwise. When he finally agreed to charge for the original quote he would only do so if we unloaded ourselves. So we did.
I hired movers so we wouldn’t have to do any of the moving and we ended up doing so anyways. The movers were also very unpleasant once they realized we couldn’t be scammed into paying that cost.
I wrote a formal complaint but it doesn’t seem as they are taking it very seriously.
If you choose to use this company, make sure you have a contact outside of the movers day of.

I had an incredible experience moving from Ohio to New Jersey with MTO this week. They offered excellent value with absolutely no hidden fees—you only pay based on the time the move takes, down to the minute, plus a well-deserved tip for the hardworking movers.

My two movers were truly amazing! They were detail-oriented and took exceptional care of all my furniture and belongings. We even had a piano that needed to be moved from the basement, which was no small task. I can’t express enough how much I appreciated their effort—they handled the move efficiently and safely, with an attitude that went above and beyond 100%.

Additionally, the timely and clear communication throughout the process made everything feel more manageable and stress-free. We plan to move again in 1-2 years after purchasing our new home, and MTO will absolutely be our first and only choice.

This company was difficult to work with and unprofessional. They arrived extremely late to pick up our belongings. The foreman demanded his tip before leaving and then left a large pile of trash in the survey.

At move in, a several pieces of furniture were damaged. I reached out to the company about filling a claim for the damages and was told I would hear back soon…a week later after several attempts to reach out, they have gone completely silent. But when they thought there was an issue with my payment I got a call within minutes. I’ve never had such a poor experience with a moving company!

I recently had a fantastic experience with Zenith Moving. Nine months ago, I stored my belongings in their Climate Controlled storage facility while I was studying abroad. Fast forward to now, and Zenith Moving has delivered everything right to my dorm at Rutgers University in New Jersey, exactly as I had hoped.

From the start, their service was exemplary. The staff was professional and handled my items with care. When it was time for delivery, they were punctual and efficient, ensuring that all my things arrived in perfect condition.

They also moved my family from Newark, NJ to Oklahoma last year and delivered our three bedroom apartment to OK within 48 hours along with my mom’s Mazda CX5.

We had a great experience with Zenith, moving from Brooklyn to New Jersey. Our initial virtual walk through helped them identify big items & any delicate pieces for their quote. Hassan and his team were on time, professional, friendly, and quick while being careful. Each of them packed up a room, and confirmed with us how to label each box. They worked efficiently, even with our 4 year old in the apt. They drove to New Jersey, where they then moved everything into our new home fast and into the right rooms. They reassembled our large furniture themselves, like bed frames and the kitchen table. And they confirmed with us where to place all the furniture, once it was in each room. Nothing got broken, and the interstate move only took about 7 hours front to back. The best part of the experience was working with Hassan. He’s a great team leader and very approachable and communicative. Really easy to work with, especially in a situation like moving that could otherwise have been stressful. Six stars if we could give that many! Once again Kiko and his crew have gone above and beyond our expectations. Our first experience with Zenith was in 2020 during Covid, when we moved to Europe, which went flawlessly. We have also moved many times in NYC, so we know the difference between just OK movers and an exceptional company like Zenith. To start, they delivered the right amount of boxes, paper and tape and then on moving day they showed up right on time. The movers were very professional and pleasant to deal with and they meticulously wrapped each item so nothing was scratched or broken. They carefully disassembled and then reassembled a bed, several large furniture pieces, TV and home computer. All of this was done quickly and efficiently. Upon arrival at our new apartment, everything went very smoothly. Moving is one of the most stressful events in life but if you’re lucky enough to hire a team like Zenith you will find yourself in very good hands. We can’t recommend them highly enough. There have been many moves in my life but this move from my 1 bedroom apartment in midtown to a storage unit was the most painless process, start to finish. Ema handled my quote and was always in communication with me. When the actual move came, Hassan and his team absolutely crushed it. Hassan led the project, he assessed what I had, communicated clearly to his teammates, and worked efficiently. The entire move was done within a couple hours or so. It was incredible and I will never look to any other company for moving services. Pricing was also better than most companies.
